Thank you all in advance for your thought and ideas. If they develop a work around, I will gladly use FoxFi 100% but for now I am seeking another product. I know that i can uninstall the certificate and disable the lock screen when not using FoxFi but this is a real pain going back and forth 4-6 times a day, especially when I leave someplace and am driving wishing to use TC. I am guessing this added step was needed to help them reduce people pirating their app or they didn't think of the ramifications to this devices Touchless Control feature. I have been a very happy paying customer of theirs for almost two years. This is an unfortunate change FoxFi made. I am coming from a Galaxy Nexus and did not have this added step nor was there TC that it interfered with. It hinders the Touchless Control feature that is a mainstay of the Moto X. But still, FoxFi remains one of the best wifi tethering tools. I hate the required lock screen it now needs with its security certificate. If youre looking for an alternative to this app, you may consider the Hotspot Shield VPN app. I am searching for an alternative to FoxFi.
